(m)Apping Urban Culture: Technology and the City

As we move towards a city life that is intertwined with technology - delivery apps, consultation apps, transport to name a few - it becomes increasingly relevant to ask what it means to be an app user today. Is technology a democratising instrument in the way we experience urban life today? Or, is it reproducing, reinforcing and introducing new ways of societal hierarchies?
I hosted Shrabonti Bagchi, journalist and National Features Editor, Mint and Chanakya Vyas, playwright and Artistic Director, Indian Ensemble at City Scripts 2019 to reflect on different modes of writing about digital culture in the city.
