I think about Southern futures, and how technology will change city economies
I am a scholar of urban economies and technology. I work at building grounded theory of platform assemblages as they affect the political economy, sociology and ontology of informality in work, governance and life in cities of the global South.
This website hosts my academic articles, public writing and video or audio presentations.
My work looks at several questions such as what do platforms offer the lives of city dwellers of the global South living and working through their assemblages, what will technology do to change how our markets look and function, how will technology alter the spatial and temporal logics of Indian cities? How will it change the way we think about work, and what work we do?
